<p>Enter Foursquare&#8230;</p>
<p>Founded in 2009 at South by Southwest Interactive, Foursquare is a location-based mobile platform that lets you use your phone to &#8220;check in&#8221; and share your location with friends. &#8220;Check in&#8221; enough and you&#8217;re awarded badges and may find yourself Mayor of your local coffee shop.</p>

<p>As you can see in the video, uses iPhone 4&#8242;s front facing camera to scan your face, make the necessary adjustments and then try on virtual glasses. You can try on multiple glasses and buy them with ease via their mobile commerce platform. You can even find the closest store to pick up your pair of glasses. Plus, you can share photos of you in your virtual glasses with friends to get a second opinion. I want to see Gunnar Optiks on this app &#8211; their glasses are the best.</p>

<p>Have you ever seen or scanned a QR code? You know, it&#8217;s a little box that looks like a bar code or something similar and is generally found on advertisements. You can scan it with your Smartphone (iPhone, BlackBerry, Android) and be directed to a site. It looks like this:</p>

The problem I have is that it usually just takes you to a website&#8230;and frankly, I don&#8217;t feel like exploring a website on my Samsung Epic. I surf the web on my 15.4&#8243; screen, I download music, play games and keep up with news on my Smartphone.</p>

With today&#8217;s QR code campaigns, </span></span></span></span>I have never scanned a code and gone back to the site when I got home. Usually, my entire relationship with the brand was a matter of minutes.  Using Likify, the QR code scan is just the BEGINNING of the relationship. You see the code, scan it and LIKE the brand. When you get home and log on to Facebook, you are connected with that brand. It&#8217;s smart, and it has the power to last.</p>
